چکیده

Energy is very important nowadays and it has become essential for human life. More amount of energy necessary a community with increased living standards population. This causes an increase in consumption. one the most significant problems across world today; therefore, should be generated at best level. Excessive generation makes countries lose money while less crises. Therefore, need to adjust their demand optimally. It possible estimate demands by using various applications. study proposes new improved algorithm linear regression models forecast Turkey. The selected Invasive Weed Optimization (IWO) which been developed levy flight called LF-IWO. In model, input parameters included data regarding Turkey’s gross domestic product (GDP), population, import export. was estimated these between 1979 2011. estimation results obtained from model were compared those similar studies literature measure performance success algorithm.

A New Approach for Text Documents Classification with Invasive Weed Optimization and Naive Bayes Classifier

With the fast increase of the documents, using Text Document Classification (TDC) methods has become a crucial matter. This paper presented a hybrid model of Invasive Weed Optimization (IWO) and Naive Bayes (NB) classifier (IWO-NB) for Feature Selection (FS) in order to reduce the big size of features space in TDC. TDC includes different actions such as text processing, feature extraction, form...

Invasive Weed Optimization for Combined Economic and Emission Dispatch Problems

In this paper, Invasive Weed Optimization (IWO) algorithm is used to find the optimum solution of Combined Economic Emission Dispatch (CEED) problem. The main objective is to minimize the fuel cost as well as emission level, while satisfying the power demand and associative operational constraints. The bi-objective problem is made to a single objective function using the price penalty factor. S...

The Expanded Invasive Weed Optimization Metaheuristic for Solving Continuous and Discrete Optimization Problems

This paper introduces an expanded version of the Invasive Weed Optimization algorithm (exIWO) distinguished by the hybrid strategy of the search space exploration proposed by the authors. The algorithm is evaluated by solving three well-known optimization problems: minimization of numerical functions, feature selection, and the Mona Lisa TSP Challenge as one of the instances of the traveling sa...

The Optimization of Energy Supply Systems by Sequential Streamflow Routing Method and Invasive Weed Optimization Algorithm; Case Study: Karun II Hydroelectric Power Plant

Among the major sources of energy supply systems, hydroelectric power plants are more common. Energy supply during peak hours and less environmental issues are some of the most important advantages of hydroelectric power plants. In this study, designing parameters to supply maximum amount of energy was determined by using the simulation-optimization perspective and combination of IWO-WEAP model...
